In a recent news release, Convaid, headquartered in Torrance, Calif, announced Medix21 as its exclusive Australian importer of Convaid products.
According to the release, Medix21 is a supplier of rehabilitation equipment to hospitals, homes, special schools, aged care facilities, and clinics with a variety of healthcare products for rental or purchase.
The company has also been the sole importer for Convaid products in New Zealand for more than 20 years.
Chris Braun, Convaid president, states that with the appointment of Medix21, “we are expecting to see our product distribution in Australia grow considerably in the coming years.”
Braun adds that the ordering process through Medix21 is intended to streamline product delivery, allowing the product to arrive in days, rather than weeks.
“In addition, they will be available to train dealers on products, and provide local service and support,” Braun says.
