Mediware Information Systems Inc announces it is building a new 66,000-square-foot world headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas, and will move there from its current offices in Lenexa, Kansas, when the building is completed in mid-2019.

The new building positions the company to continue to pursue its expansion strategy, which includes major acquisition targets. Mediware was quickly outgrowing its current headquarters in Lenexa, according to a company news release.

“We are establishing a modern world headquarters for Mediware, and it will be a good home for our fast-growing company for years to come,” says Bill Miller, CEO of Mediware, in the release.

“We live and work in the Kansas City metropolitan area. By establishing our headquarters here, we are making a tangible commitment to Kansas City as one of the most important hubs for tech innovation in the United States and in the world.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Mediware into CityPlace Corporate Centre III,” states Ken Block, managing partner of Block Real Estate Services, in the release. “The company’s aspiration and commitment to the community made them the ideal tenant for this promising new construction project, and we’re thrilled to partner with them as we continue developing the space.”
