With the retirement of Larry Mulholland after 45 years in the HME business, his Burley, Idaho-based company, Mulholland Positioning Systems Inc, will close its doors at the end of January 2017.
During his career, which focused on serving the positioning and mobility needs of children with acute physical needs, Mulholland, 84, contributed eight original patents for equipment innovations.
These innovations have formed the foundation for much of the equipment used today, according to a company news release.

Isn’t anyone going to continue producing your designs? I want a walkabout gait trainer, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get one now.
I would appreciate a call if someone is still working the business AR closing. Norco has an outstanding credit balance due us.
I am the AP manager and can be reached at 208-433-6021.

I was a physical therapist who worked with Larry Mulholland since the beginning. I was a PT who worked with the DD population for over 40 yrs. Larry was a genious in developing equipment for children to increase their independence. So many people tried to copy his work. His mind will be missed
Used Mulholland wheelchairs early in my career. We loved them.
