Clarke Health Care debuts the DST8000 Triple Pro, a dynamic stair trainer that features an electronically elevating staircase and a gradient incline that rises from flat to 6.5 inches, enabling patients to practice climbing stairs at a level appropriate to their ability.

With a walking surface that rises to 26 degrees, as well as height-adjustable handrails, patients can also practice steps, slopes, and gait without changing equipment.

The DST8000 Triple Pro features an onboard computer that records patients’ progress in past and current sessions. The compiled data creates a DST factor, which summarizes patients’ estimated potential for improvement, according to the Oakdale, Pa-based company.
