VMIVantage Mobility International (VMI) recently spotlighted its newest conversion for the Toyota Sienna at the annual National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) conference. The company’s new Summit Access360 Conversion system for the Sienna is designed to provide users with improved cabin maneuverability and a 750-pound weight capacity to accommodate large users and power wheelchairs. The product also features a 9-inch longer lowered-floor than previously available, and a 22-inch rear bench with standard foldout footrest.

The company adds that the conversion’s power switch allows users to disable conversion features for guest drivers, and open sliding doors for able-bodied passengers without deploying the ramp/conversion. The Access360 Conversion system is also engineered to integrate with OEM vehicle electronics to prevent damage to the vehicle or conversion.
