The OBSS Custom Seating system from Ottobock, Austin, Tex, will now feature the Sense 3D Scanner from Rock Hill, SC-headquartered 3D Systems, according to a company news release.
The handheld Sense 3D Scanner, adopted because it is less prone to human error and faster than previous technology, will be used to capture the molds of Ottobock’s custom seating.
“I’m excited to be introducing another high-tech tool that will make it easier for ATP’s to do business with us, while working with our team of talented seating technicians who are dedicated to delivering better patient outcomes,” states John Phillips, North American market manager for OBSS, in the release.
