Sandra Sedacca has joined Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and the Continuing Care Division of Partners HealthCare as senior vice president and chief development officer.
The newly created position is effective November 28, according to a company announcement.
“We are thrilled to have Sandra bring her strong record in philanthropy to Spaulding as we look to expand our efforts in research, care and advocacy,” says David Storto, president, Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, in the release. “Her vision and leadership will greatly enhance our already strong philanthropic efforts and make a meaningful impact for the communities we serve.”
Sedacca was previously the executive director of strategic initiatives and campaign at Harvard Medical School. Prior to this role, she was vice president and chief development officer for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, vice president of development for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation, and dean of development & external relations for the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Earlier in her career, she worked in senior advancement positions for the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation and Save the Children Federation, the release states.
One of Sedacca’s goals with this new position will be to expand the philanthropy programs that support Partners HealthCare at Home, which along with Spaulding, comprises the Continuing Care Division of Partners HealthCare.
