The International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) will host a free seminar on Saturday, March 11 at Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center.
The event, sponsored by Cala Health and Medtronic, will feature speaker presentations regarding the diagnostic process, treatment options, current research, coping tips, and more. In addition, interactive exhibits from IETF partners will give participants an opportunity to learn about the condition and the resources available to help them.
Attendees will also receive an essential tremor information packet to take home.
“At this forum, people will gain a better understanding of their condition and what options for treatment are available. Hopefully they will also realize, as they look around the room, that they are not alone in this condition; that there are millions all over the world affected, just like them,” says IETF Executive Director Patrick McCartney, in a media release.
