The compact 7550 Fold-Up Wheelchair Scale by Webb City, Mo-based DETECTO is designed to fold away when not in use, thereby freeing up floor space.
The company announces that the scale is now OIML Class III certified for European clinical facilities.
Per a company news release, the 7550 scale’s weight indicator can store 99 individual tare weights. It also has a large and easy-to-read backlit LCD display.
The scale measures 6.6 inches from the wall when folded, and is engineered to accurately weigh up to 1,000 pounds/450 kg. Its 1.5-inch height and 32.3-x-33-inch footprint enables the scale to accommodate a variety of powered and nonpowered wheelchairs.
The MedVue medical weight analyzer features a tilt-and-swivel mounting bracket, enabling the large LCD readouts to be positioned for easy reading. Patient weight, height, and BMI are all displayed simultaneously in one scan.
