BlueJay Mobile Health has signed on to join Agoura Hills, Calif-based Casamba’s partner network and will work with Casamba to deliver its BlueJay Engage to Casamba users.

Casamba expects the first integrated offering from BlueJay Mobile Health, a full-service digital technology company focusing on rehabilitation care for both provider and patients, to go live on the platform in late Q2 2019, Casamba notes in a media release.

BlueJay Engage is a rehabilitation patient engagement platform that features artificial intelligence-powered, real-time range of motion tracking technology using cell phone cameras. The platform offers a HIPAA-compliant telehealth video visit and video conferencing service, enabling direct communication between patients and caregivers in a secure, real-time environment.

“Technology is changing the way physical therapists deliver meaningful, valuable treatment to their patients. By working with a company like BlueJay, we’re able to provide our customers a best-in-class solution for delivering AI-powered physical therapy and a fully compliant video conferencing platform to facilitate remote treatment,” says Luis Montes, Casamba’s SVP of strategic partnerships, in the release.

“We are excited to work with Casamba, who is a leader in EMR solutions for providers in post-acute care. BlueJay’s AI and mobile technologies will bring new tools to Casamba customers in telehealth or telerehabilitation, and in patient engagement for value-based practice,” adds Tony Zhang, president and CEO of BlueJay Mobile Health, Livermore, Calif, in the release.

With this new addition, as well as recent deals with Forcura and Alinea Engage, Casamba’s partner network totals nearly 90 companies, the company estimates.
