Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI), in partnership with the Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW), offers skin and wound management continuing education training to HCAW members.

The Skin and Wound Management Course, taught by WCEI—a provider of education in skin, wound, diabetic, and ostomy management—is available either online or in person.

Upon course completion, students who meet the eligibility requirements and successfully pass the national board certification exam by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) will become board certified in wound care earning the credentials, WCC (Wound Care Certified), according to a media release from WCEI.
