An on-demand webcast focuses on the use of mechanically powered negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Available through the SWAC Network, intended participants for “An Expanded View of Mechanically Powered NPWT” include physical therapists, physicians, podiatrists, and nurses who are involved in wound healing or wound care issues.
Upon completion of this course, participants should have the ability to differentiate MPNPWT and NPWT, in terms of wound selection, billing, and use in wound clinic sites of care versus home care. Additionally, participants should be able to assess late-breaking data regarding the use of an improved safety profile with MPNPWT to standard NPWT and review cases about the use of MPNPWT in conjunction with various standard and advanced wound care modalities.
