The Comfort Company has formed distribution collaboration with online e-commerce company Rehabmart.com to market the company’s Maxx Gel Wheelchair Cushions, according to a recent news release.
The Maxx Gel Wheelchair Cushions feature soft topper foam waterfalls over the front of the cushion, which are designed to provide comfort and support to all potential user pressure points. The product also targets added reduction of potential high-pressure areas through four layers of high resiliency foam intended to increase surface area.
The product is comprised of a gel back made from the composite gel Evolite. Users may also benefit from the Maxx Gel Wheelchair Cushions’ two cover fabric options. These options include the Stretch-Air Fabric, which reportedly blends a high-stretch Lycra top layer, waterproof, breathable vapor barrier, and layer of reticulating foam.
The Comfort-Tek fluid-proof fabric offers users a multi-dimensional stretch to alleviate pressure on bony prominences and enhance comfort.
