J-Meds Inc and Kalos Health Services LLC have signed a definitive partnership agreement to provide affordable medical equipment and solutions to skilled nursing, rehabilitation, bariatric, and wound care facilities throughout Texas.
The privately held company will operate under the brand name JMeds. It will be headquartered in Fort Worth and will have offices in five Texas locations: two in Dallas-Fort Worth, and one each in McAllen, Houston, and San Antonio.
Its combined services will include extended wound care therapy, safe patient handling, infection control and prevention practices, pulmonary rehab, and bariatric care services statewide.
It will also continue to deliver medical equipment anywhere in Texas reportedly within a 4-hour time frame, as well as in late 2018, a cutting-edge online technology designed to revolutionize delivery and provide even better patient outcomes, according to a media release from JMeds.
“I look forward to our new partnership and the implementation of processes and practices that will allow us to provide even stronger levels of service and equipment to our customers,” says J-Meds Inc COO Jerry Williams, who will hold the same position in the new company, in the release.
Kalos founders George Robertson and Joshua Robertson will serve as President/COO and EVP of JMeds, respectively.
“With more than 10,000 people in the US turning 65 each day, the importance of providing compassionate and long-term care solutions has never been more important,” states George Robertson. “This is especially true in today’s LTCF environment where fragmentation, HR, paperwork, logistics, regulations and more are the norm.”
“The entire team, products and services, when combined, provide more end-to-end delivery of care and an unparalleled, bundled approach across the care continuum,” adds Joshua Robertson, the release continues.
