An existing home health joint venture agreement between southern Oregon-based health system Asante and post-acute health care provider AccentCare expands via the creation of AccentCare Asante Home Health.
The joint venture agreement between Asante and AccentCare has been in existence for the past 8 years.
This newly expanded relationship folds in Asante’s Ashland Home Health and creates a preferred provider partnership with AccentCare that spans all of Asante’s service area in southern Oregon.
“We are excited about our expanded relationship with Asante,” says Steve Rodgers, CEO of AccentCare, in a media release. “Asante has earned widespread recognition for patient care and shares our commitment to quality, compassionate healthcare in the home.”
Overall, this partnership will benefit patients through care innovation and enhanced care coordination between acute and post-acute home care, the release adds.
“Our growing partnership with AccentCare will offer our patients improved access to a broader range of home health services, including specialty programs and telemonitoring,” states Scott Kelly, Asante’s executive vice president. “The expanded array of services will provide continuity as our patients transition from the hospital to other modes of treatment.”
