Convaid, headquartered in Torrance, Calif, debuts its updated Rodeo Pediatric Wheelchair, with two frame options (E1232 and E1234) designed to accept adaptive and aftermarket seating.

New options also include the choice of a single footplate or two individual angle-adjustable footplates, as well as a folding lock that enables more convenient wheelchair folding.

The tilt-in-space Rodeo Pediatric Wheelchair provides up to 45 degrees of adjustable tilt, as well as 90 or 110 degrees of recline to provide pressure relief and body support. It is available in sizes 10, 12, 14, and 16, for users weighing up to 170 pounds.

“We are continually seeking to improve our popular products such as the Rodeo. The Rodeo is now even more customizable as it accommodates Convaid’s seating system or aftermarket seating. It also offers the choice of single or individual footplates. The new folding mechanism will greatly help families in their day-to-day mobility,” says Convaid’s director of marketing, Nanneke Dinklo, in a media release.

Convaid, together with R82, form the Etac Pediatric Group. For more information, visit Convaid.
