Quick N Mobile Inc now offers new lightweight folding power wheelchairs that are FDA registered medical devices and FAA travel approved.
Three models are available, according to the company’s website: the Eagle HD Lightweight Foldable Wheelchair, the Airhawk Power Folding Wheelchair, and the Electra7 WIDE Bariatric Folding Travel Wheelchair.
“Folding power wheelchairs are the new thing. People are purchasing them faster than we can stock,” says Paul Bunting, a rep for Fort Lauderdale, Fla-based Quick N Mobile Inc, in a media release.
“They are often inexpensive compared to standard power wheelchairs. They are small enough to fit through almost any doorway and they fit in the trunk of almost any car, which makes them both practical and desirable,” he adds.
