Preferred Therapy Providers Inc, Phoenix, announced that it has signed a Workers’ Compensation agreement with ClarisPointe in the state of Arizona.
ClarisPointe, Irvine, Calif, is a Workers’ Compensation Preferred Provider Organization providing cost containment services to payors and employers. ClarisPointe features a patient channeling mechanism called “ClarisNetDirect” that offers an online provider look-up for their clients. Their goal is to listen to their clients concerns and to provide innovative solutions that build long-term solutions by combining the best network providers with the unique needs of each individual customer.
ClarisPointe strives to achieve the most appropriate network fit with the broadest penetration and the greatest financial impact, regardless of the payors or employers’ size and location.
“Our relationship with ClarisPointe validates one of our goals to connect our private practice members to health plans that provide appropriate and effective workers’ compensation solutions,” says Jaxene Hillebert, president of Preferred. “We continue to make strides in forging these associations because of their value to our private practice members.”
Founded in 1992, Preferred’s business model allows flexibility in contracting between private practitioners and various health plans and organizations. Preferred assumes responsibility for primary source verification of all practitioner elements required by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), thereby reducing time, cost, and paperwork for both the PPO and provider. Currently, Preferred has over 1,100 clinics in 35 states and over 2,700 individual therapists, serving more than 60 million members.
