Bob Gilligan joins Port Washington, NY-based Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare as CEO, effective immediately. Harvey Diamond transitions to the role of Vice Chairman, where he will serve as a senior advisor as well as a member of the Board of Directors.
Gilligan, previously CEO of GE Industrial Solutions, brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the position.
“I’m excited to be joining the Drive DeVilbiss team and look forward to continuing to outpace industry growth rates by over delivering for our customers,” Gilligan states in a media release from the company.
“I’m excited to work with Harvey Diamond in the coming months as I transition into the role of CEO, benefiting from his years of experience in the industry. This is a great business with a very bright future for our customers, employees and shareholders.”
Gilligan received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Bucknell University.
