Ottobock, Minneapolis, has entered a new partnership with Krabat AS, giving Ottobock exclusive distribution rights in North America to three of the Norway-based company’s products. Krabat AS develops mobility aids for children and youth.
The first of these three products is the Krabat Pirat (pictured right). The floating aid provides children new opportunities for independence in the water and is designed to simulate self-activity. The second product, the Krabat Pilot, (pictured below, left) is an aid engineered to facilitate crawling.
Rounding out the products is the Krabat Jockey Plus (pictured below, right). The active children’s chair is intended to provide users with considerable mobility and variation.
Krabat’s managing director Fredrik Brodtkrob designates Ottobock as an ideal partner to reach children worldwide.
Ottobock’s vice president of Mobility Solutions, Matt Swiggum echoes the sentiment, calling the partnership beneficial and states that it places an emphasis on solutions offered by these products during a key stage in mobility development for children.
