The International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) is hosting a free educational forum regarding the neurological condition on Saturday, August 26, in Cleveland.

The program will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside, from 9 am to 12 pm.

The forum will feature presentations by physicians regarding the diagnostic process, treatment options, current research, coping tips, and more, according to a media release from the IETF.

Parking will be free, refreshments will be served, and attendees will be given an information packet to take home.

“The IETF is dedicated to offering hope to those affected by essential tremor,” says IETF Executive Director Patrick McCartney, in the release.

“At this forum, people will gain a better understanding of their condition and what options for treatment are available. Hopefully they will also realize, as they look around the room, that they are not alone in this condition; that there are millions all over the world affected, just like them,” adds McCartney, also one of the presenters at the educational forum.
