After a two-year break due to the Covid pandemic, REHACARE, International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care, will return from September 14 – 17, 2022 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“We are very happy that REHACARE INTERNATIONAL in September will finally be held as an in-person event again. Seeing innovations and touching and trying out products is vital – especially at our most relevant trade fair for rehabilitation and care worldwide, where experiencing the exhibits with all our senses is indispensable. Our REHACARE customers has been travelling to Düsseldorf for many years. In addition to what is happening inside the exhibition halls, the opportunity for personal exchange also plays an important role. Our exhibitors can hardly wait to meet and do business in person again. Thanks to the exhibitors’ positive feedback, we can already say at this early stage that meeting at REHACARE will prove an absolute highlight for the sector. In addition to top-class brands such as Ottobock, MEYRA, Sunrise, Dietz and thyssenkrupp nearly all renowned companies will be represented in Düsseldorf with many exciting products and ideas. The effects of the pandemic can still be felt but what counts is that things are starting again, that we create the platform for personal exchange and – together with all companies, associations and organizations involved – provide impulses for self-determined living, autonomy and inclusion,” stated Project Director Hannes Niemann.
REHACARE will again be an international platform with the latest innovations for senior citizens and people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. The range of exhibits will include daily living aids, barrier free building and living, communication technology, mobility and walking aids, in and out-patient care, physiotherapy as well as travel, recreation and sports. The exhibits will be supported by forums and an ancillary program.
REHACARE will feature several special exhibit areas:

Serving as a central meeting point for exchanging ideas, information and discussions will be the TREFFPUNKT REHACARE in hall 6 with a different topic each day. Support for People Suffering from Long Covid
The topic of Long Covid will attract a lot of attention at REHACARE after two years of pandemic. The clinical pattern and symptoms of those affected are very complex and little researched so far. Integrated care concepts as well as multimodal therapy approaches are hardly available in the health care system. REHACARE will be the first trade fair to offer solutions to this problem, with experts providing information on targeted therapy approaches and the latest findings on post- and long-term care. With a network of general practitioners, Long Covid outpatient clinics, rehabilitation clinics and self-help groups, the trade fair is thus the first point of contact for those looking for help.
Everyday Life and Relaxed Travel
In Hall 5, industrial companies and associations will showcase innovations and products from the technical aids market for people with sensory and motor impairments. Exhibits here will also revolve around vacationing. With certified providers such as TMGS (Tourismus Marketing Gesellschaft Sachsen mbH), the Fundació Mallorca Turisme, SailWise (for tailor-made yachting vacations in the Netherlands), De Egmonden from Egmond aan Zee and Heidehotel Bad Bevensen everyone will find the right travel offer, no matter what special requirements or restrictions have to be taken into account when choosing a vacation.
