Rehab Medical LLC, a national complex rehab technology (CRT) company, announces its expansion into southern Georgia after acquiring Priority Medical LLC. Priority Medical has a history of prioritizing patient care in the Peach State, enabling users to regain their mobility freedom through individually configured mobility products and services.
“Priority Medical is a perfect example of the quality acquisition targets that will benefit greatly from our technology enabled platform,” said Chief Strategy Officer Travis Bonnell. “Technology enablement and focus on the customer has translated into a greater patient experience and industry leading delivery times.”
For the past decade, Rehab Medical has successfully provided mobility services to patients in the northern and central areas of Georgia, with a strong presence in Atlanta and Augusta. In the past few years it has expanded south and this recent acquisition now allows the company to reach the full state. Priority Medical consists of three employees who will transition to the Rehab Medical team, including two additional assistive technology professionals (ATPs).
“This acquisition brings on immediate growth in southern Georgia and specifically Savannah with a core group that really fits our culture,” said Rehab Medical President Kevin Gearheart. “It also provides an opportunity to continue expanding organically in the near future to connect to our offices in Florida and have a more complete presence in the Southeast.”
This is the company’s first acquisition of the year and second territory expansion of the year. In early January, it announced the opening of its first office in the Chicago market, allowing them to serve mobility users throughout the entire Midwest region.
