MedData Inc, a Brecksville, Ohio-based provider of patient-facing financial services for hospitals and health systems, announces the debut of its comprehensive patient financial platform, MedData OneTouch.

MedData OneTouch creates a single touchpoint that links all patient-facing financial programs—including Eligibility, Patient Responsibility, Workers’ Compensation, Denials, Disability, and Third Party Liability—ensuring that every patient, whether insured, under-insured, or uninsured, is able to receive the most appropriate coverage for their situation.

Using the solution, hospitals and health systems are able to simultaneously increase their overall cost savings and patient satisfaction, as well as capture incremental revenue purely through combining patient financial services into a single process, according to the results of a 2017 performance study of MedData OneTouch, available at MedData Inc.

“Because MedData serves as a single touchpoint, patients don’t have to provide the same information over and over again,” says MedData president and CEO, Ann Barnes, in a media release. “And hospitals don’t have to worry about missing revenue opportunities or the significant compliance risk associated with juggling multiple vendors. Every interaction is seamless, positive, and productive.”
