In collaboration with Liaison, the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) offers a centralized application service (CAS) for graduate degree programs focusing on occupational therapy assistants.
Called OTACAS, the higher education application management solution is designed to help streamline the graduate programs admissions process for students wishing to become occupational therapy assistants, as well as for admissions coordinators.
Like OTCAS—a solution for occupational therapists launched via an AOTA/Liaison collaboration 6 years ago—OTACAS combines application software, integrated services, and analytical capabilities to provide an intuitive experience to OTA applicants, as well as save admissions coordinators from manual processing tasks, per a media release from Liaison.
As well, per the release, OTACAS is also designed to help provide AOTA members increased exposure to a broader spectrum of applicants.
“Occupational therapy assistant students want ease of access and programs want an effective way to recruit the top healthcare applicants,” says Neil Harvison, chief academic and scientific affairs officer at AOTA, in the release. “OTACAS’s single online application provides a streamlined application process for top occupational therapy assistant programs nationwide.”
“We’re delighted to expand our partnership with AOTA as they grow,” adds George Haddad, founder and CEO of Liaison, in the release. “The new OTACAS will enable their programs to deliver the best possible applicant experience to those interested in this leading health care support field, while allowing admissions committees more time to focus on strategic priorities.”
Liaison provides higher education admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions, such as cloud-based application and processing software, which are utilized by numerous educational programs on campuses nationwide, per the release.
