Join Frank Long, editorial director of Rehab Management and Physical Therapy Products, as he speaks with Jerry Henderson, physical therapist, founder and vice president for therapist success at Clinicient.
Therapists, by nature, are always looking to practice at the top of their game. Creating bullet proof documentation is a critical component of that. This is especially true in an environment when payor reimbursement is closely attached to the quality of documentation.
Jerry shares important tips every therapist can use to make sure their documentation practices are at their best—and drops a few reminders about why it’s important.
Prior to Clinicient, Jerry Henderson, PT, was a practicing physical therapist for more than 25 years, 20 of which were in private practice.
Henderson founded Physical Therapy Clinics Inc (PTCI) a multi-clinic physical therapy business in the Seattle area, in 1979. He also started a second physical therapy practice in 2003 called Physiocare Corporation. In 1995, while still in clinical practice, Henderson started the PT Link Corporation. Henderson describes PT Link as an early version of a physical therapy documentation software system, acquired by The Pathways Group and ultimately becoming part of a public offering.
Henderson says his ultimate goal is to provide his colleagues proven processes and state-of-the-art systems to enable them to excel on both fronts.
