Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF), headquartered in Voorhees, NJ, was recently chosen by the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) to host a pediatric specialty course, reports a Voorhees news release. The course, which centered on “Integrated Treatment Strategies for the Rib Cage, Shoulder Girdle, and Upper Extremities,” saw a wide range of attendees that included experienced clinicians traveling from Columbia, Canada, Massachusetts, Long Island, Chicago, and Washington DC.

The release notes that two distinguished NDTA pediatric specialists also flew in from Texas and Milwaukee to instruct the course. Scott Goldberg, VPF administrator, adds that being chosen by, “such a prestigious organization,” to host the event was an honor and privilege. “This was also a great way for our own therapists to further enhance their skills, and for the children and their families we serve to benefit,” Goldberg says.

The 119-bed facility provides nursing and rehabilitative care to patients, as well as a freestanding ventilator program, and on-site private school featuring special education services for medically fragile and technology-dependent children, and medical day care.
