The caretakers of EscapeMaker.com have compiled a list of New York-area agritourism destinations that are accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
The wheelchair-accessible and ADA-compliant locations include visit farms, farm markets, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and education centers.
“It has always been our priority to enable people to make the most of their local vacations. We always try to suggest agritourism getaways that cater to specific interests,” says Caylin Sanders, EscapeMaker’s founder & president, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2010, in a media release.
“Whether we’re serving parents looking for kid-friendly activities, a couple seeking a romantic getaway, craft beverage aficionados, animal-lovers, education seekers or outdoor adventurers who are either wheelchair users or have limited mobility, we are determined to guide you toward your perfect local escape,” she adds.
