The SACH+ prosthetic foot marketed by Ottobock, Minneapolis, is now available in a new brown color option. The SACH+ (Solid Ankle Cushion Heel) foot is engineered to provide benefits and new features for users at mobility levels K1 and K2.
The company notes that a specific focus was placed on the durable design of the product during its development, along with a blend of newly developed glass-fiber-reinforced contoured core and functional foam. The composition is designed to offer users protection against bumps, dirt, and moisture.
The SACH+ foot is also intended to fit into both women’s and men’s shoes via a range of options of different heel heights and foot shapes. Ottobock notes that the 1S101 is available in a standard foot shape and the 1S102 and 1S103 are slimmer.
Ottobock also adds that allowable user weight depends upon foot size and is limited to a maximum of 275 pounds.
