Now available for purchase are the next generation of ROHO AGILITY Back Systems, manufactured by Belleville, Ill-based Permobil.
According to a company announcement, these backs offer significant advancements, as well as a 5-year warranty on the shell and hardware.
Enhancements include: comfortable air and foam options; larger cutouts to the shell; hardware that is smaller and easier to install; an air, foam, and cover ventilation system to improve breathability; and a lighter shell for easier transport.
“We listened to our customers, and we attribute the great enhancements to this next generation of AGILITY backs directly to their input,” says Tom Borcherding, president of Permobil Seating and Positioning, in the media release. “Permobil is so confident in this product range that we are extending the warranty to 5 years.”
Leane Darnold, senior product development engineer at Permobil Seating and Positioning, adds, “We did our research and paid attention to the details; even the shell design was selected through an extensive customer survey. In fact, every change we made was based on direct input from our customers.”
