New from Permobil is the M1, a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair that features an open, rigid tubular backpost that can enable users to customize virtually any seating and positioning system to their needs.
The M1 also features the latest Permobil technology including drive motors, a sleek design, and FlexLink suspension engineered to absorb vibrations.
“We understand that it can be challenging for consumers to find compatible third party and aftermarket seating. The unique design of the M1 allows integration of traditional rehab seating systems with a sleek modern look. Consumers can now select the seating solution that is right for them and easily adapt to their chair without compromise,” says Melissa Bourque, director of business development – power wheelchairs, Permobil Americas, in a media release.
“The M1 combines the things that our consumers love most about their Permobil chairs including sleek design, reliability and now customizable seating solutions,” adds Larry Jackson, president and CEO of Permobil Business Region Americas, in the release. “We are constantly working to improve our solutions so consumers can live independently regardless of circumstance, and the M1 continues that tradition.”

Hi there, thanks for sharing this post. I am also planning to buy a new power chair for my friend who is disabled and while searching online I came across some good power chairs. Do you have any suggestions for buying power chairs.
