As a way to control infection and protect the community, mobility products provider Mobility City offers free wheelchair sanitizing at its locations across the United States.
The company’s chemical-free, Steam 220 Process uses dry steam vapor to kill pathogens on wheelchairs.
“According to our research, wheelchairs constitute a reservoir for various bacteria and a means of spreading them. We developed our Steam 220 Process to sanitize mobility equipment based upon scientific studies. The number of bacteria living on a surface is decreased by more than 90% after 5 seconds of exposure to dry steam vapor. Just come to our showroom for a free sensitization,” Mobility City COO Vincent Baratta says in a media release.
