AM General, headquartered in South Bend, Ind, announces that Andy Hove is its new chief executive officer and president. Hove is succeeding Charlie Hall, who is retiring.

Hove most recently served as president and CEO of HDT Global. Prior to that, he was president of Oshkosh Defense. He also served as an Army Officer and Foreign Area Officer for more than 10 years, both in the US and overseas, according to a media release from AM General.

“I have known and respected Andy for years. With his deep experience in the vehicle manufacturing industry both in the United States and internationally, I cannot think of a better executive to take the helm at AM General during this exciting time of continued growth,” shares retiring AM General CEO Charlie Hall, in the release.

Among AM General’s manufacturing business is its fully owned subsidiary Mobility Ventures, a manufacturer of wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
