MMF Industries announces that its Wheelchair Accessible Payment Terminal Mount has been named a finalist in the North American Office Products Awards (NAOPA).
The terminal mount was nominated in three categories: Best Core Business Product, Product Innovation of the Year, and People’s Choice awards.
According to a media release from MMF, the wheelchair accessible terminal mount addresses the concern regarding increasing accessibility to payment terminals within checkout counters. It features an adaptable and secure arm that extends from a stationary position to a height below the counter within ADA guidelines. This improves accessibility for customers using wheelchairs and helps prevent security violations that occur when customers relinquish their cards and PIN because they cannot reach.
Award winners will be announced July 13 during the SP Richard’s Advantage Business Conference.
