A news release from SCI Business Solutions reports that its third franchised Project Walk location has opened its doors in Fremont, Calif. The location, the release notes, is open for business and prepping for the grand opening on April 5. Event highlights reportedly include a welcome from Roman Reed, SCI spokesperson and California State Senate Candidate, and performances from the Walk and Roll Dance Team, and Arthur “AR” the Inspiration.
Brian Malkinson, director of Operations, emphasizes the company’s excitement in bringing the Project Walk brand to Northern California, “With this new franchised location, Project Walk can offer its world class programs and training services to the local disability population,” Malkinson says.
Heather Newcom, Project Walk – San Francisco facility manager, adds, “Just this morning I saw a client hug his wife for the first time while standing since getting injured. These are the milestones that make what we do worthwhile.”
