Vertical Platform Lift with Optional Canopy and Motor

Bruno Independent Living Aids, Oconomowoc, Wis, has added an optional canopy and a new, quieter motor to its popular vertical platform lift (VPL), for smoother and more comfortable access to a porch or deck. Made from durable, lightweight fabric, the canopy can be retrofitted for existing VPL installations or included in most new orders (not available for the 90º configuration). Use of the lift from an exterior porch or deck is no longer controlled by the elements. By face mounting the motor with rubber isolation mounts, the ride is quieter and has less transferred vibration.
