National American University (NAU) announces in a media release that, from September 15 through November 11 (Veterans Day), all NAU locations will participate in fundraising activities to help purchase an all-terrain wheelchair for a wounded veteran.
The purchase of the wheelchairs will be through The Independence Fund, which according to a release helps provide-all-terrain wheelchairs to wounded veterans.
“National American University prides itself on being a military friendly university. What better way to give back than getting a wounded veteran back into their surroundings,” says project coordinator and NAU Campus Director, Kristin Marthaler, in the release.
