Med-Fit Systems Inc, Fallbrook, Calif, recently announced that Henry Chang has joined the company as director of procurement. Med-Fit manufactures Nautilus commercial fitness products and SportKAT balance assessment products.
Sean Smith, Med-Fit’s chief operating officer, reportedly recruited Chang after the two of them worked together at Toyota and 24 Hour Fitness. “At 24 Hour Fitness, he achieved in excess of $100 million in savings over a decade,” Smith says of Chang in a joint interview. “I am thrilled to have been able to acquire his talents again, this time for Med-Fit Systems/Nautilus.”
Chang has more than 16 years of procurement experience, and is praised by Smith for a strong track record of implementing the appropriate processes and risk avoidance. He officially joined the Med-Fit team on April 1.
