Free Wheelchair Mission Development Director Angela Gomez announces the receipt of a $250,000 gift from an anonymous donor in Houston.
The gift will help the organization provide wheelchairs for 3,125 individuals living with a disability in a developing nation, according to a media release.
“We are so grateful for this very generous gift,” says Free Wheelchair Mission Founder and President Don Schoendorfer, in the release. “This gift will lift more than 3,000 individuals off the ground and give them a chance at life.”
“I strongly believe in the work Free Wheelchair Mission is doing,” states the anonymous donor, in the release. “They are serving the poorest of the poor and giving opportunity to those whose lives have been overlooked. It is a privilege to be able to support this organization.”
