The program behind the development of the vaccine, Operation Warp Speed, has assembled 100 million vaccine kits that are “ready to go,” according to Gen. Gustave Perna, the operation’s chief operating officer.
The United States has said if both Pfizer and Moderna win FDA emergency use authorization in December, they could distribute 40 million doses of vaccine by the end of the month, according to CNN.
