PeaceHealth plans to expand and remodel the Peace Harbor Rehabilitation & Wellness center in Springfield, Oregon.

PeaceHealth has announced plans for a $1.3 million dollar expansion and remodel project for the Peace Harbor Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Springfield, Oregon.

Construction is scheduled to begin in late February 2023 and will provide increased and improved accommodation for specialized inpatient and outpatient care at Peace Harbor Medical Center.

This project marks the center’s first upgrade since its initial opening in 2007. The upgrades will serve to accommodate a wider scope of needs by offering new services, including lymphedema services, chronic pain intervention, low vision and driving assessments, neuro rehab, sports rehab, and women’s health services.

Expansion to existing speech-language, physical, and occupational therapy services, as well as equipment upgrades, will also occur.

The PeaceHealth Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is a department of Peace Harbor Medical Center that offers physical, occupational, and speech pathology services
