National Seating & Mobility (NSM), a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions in North America, is expanding services in Canada with the opening of a new branch in Calgary, Alberta. Industry veteran Jim Frid will join the NSM team, serving as the branch and sales manager.
“Strategically growing our footprint allows us to ensure more people have access to the most advanced mobility and access solutions available,” said Rick Nori, NSM Canada VP Operations. “We are proud to welcome Jim to the NSM team and look forward to supporting his branch in assisting individuals in and around the Calgary area in their pursuit of greater independence.”
The branch will prioritize clients and high-quality service, providing a wide range of mobility solutions designed to support greater independence. Frid and his team will also emphasize education, ensuring clients, caregivers and healthcare providers understand the value of complex rehab technology (CRT) equipment and their options.
Frid has been working in the CRT industry since 1997 and recently earned his RRTS certification in Calgary and Grande Prairie, Alberta. He resides in the Calgary area with his wife and daughter.
“I came into this profession not knowing how it would change my life and how rewarding I would find this work,” said Frid. “I look forward to working with NSM and being part of the framework and challenge of starting our newest location in Calgary.”
National Seating & Mobility operates more than 190 locations across North America including 23 locations in Canada. In 2021 NSM acquired Canada Care, expanding into Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, and acquired ECO Medical Red Deer, expanding into Alberta.
