In conjunction with the reality show Born This Way, RespectAbility releases the Born This Way Fan Guide, which includes resources for job seekers with disabilities, and the employers that hire them.
During a recent episode of Born This Way, the cast members—comprised of seven individuals with Down syndrome—attended a summit hosted by RespectAbility, during which they brainstormed ideas and made connections regarding the employment of people with disabilities, resulting in the Fan Guide, according to a media release from RespectAbility.
Included within the Born This Way Fan Guide are free tools, contacts, information, and services around such areas as employers, education resources, policy makers, entertainment professionals, ending the school-to-prison pipeline, and inclusive philanthropy.
