Mettler Electronics Corp, Anaheim, Calif, recently introduced its latest continuous passive motion (CPM) device. The CPM 8000 is engineered to provide complete automatic motion of the knee.
The device is designed to accommodate a variety of knee CPM patients, including orthopedic, pediatric, and bariatric.
The 8000 is intended to provide ease of use and is fully programmable. The product also features a reversible footplate, wide carriages for all sizes of patients, force reversal feature, patient lock-out, and “whisper quiet” screw drive.
The company adds that the 8000 is adjustable and offers users an easy to use LCD control unit and 2-year warranty.
