Stakeholders among the physical therapy profession may still be unsure about how to correctly report data for billing under the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) in 2015. A November 20 webinar featuring the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) director of quality addresses important details about PQRS that can help clinics avoid a potential 2.0% reduction in Medicare reimbursement.

The webinar, titled “Physical Therapy and PQRS in 2015: How to Report Successfully,” is scheduled for 2 pm to 3 pm on November 20. The APTA reports the webinar will be live and interactive, with a video recording of the presentation available for viewing after the live event.

Heather Smith, PT, MPH, director of quality at APTA, is the featured speaker for this webinar. Smith will address program changes that will impact physical therapists and provide practical approaches for participation. After Smith’s presentation, a Q&A session is scheduled for attendees to address questions directly to subject matter experts.

The APTA reports that the price of the webinar is $99 for members and $169 for non-members. More information is available at the APTA website.
