REHACARE International 2018, a trade show for the international rehabilitation and care sector, will take place September 26 to 29 in halls 3 to 7.0 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

More than 700 exhibitors from 40 countries will present products and services designed to better assist people living with disabilities or require care, as well as seniors.

“Visitors can expect a top international event, with almost 50% of exhibitors coming from abroad. From the leading players in the industry to many small and medium-size companies serving special segments, REHACARE will bring together all those who offer competitive solutions in the worldwide market,” states Joachim Schäfer, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf, organizer of the event, in a media release.

Exhibit categories will include mobility and everyday aids, physical care and hygiene, household and nutrition, communication equipment, safety systems, building and living, workplace, physical training, ergotherapy, nursing and medical care and clothing as well as sports, leisure and travel.

In addition to exhibits, numerous education conferences, congresses, and workshops will take place, hosted by internationally renowned experts, associations, and healthcare funding institutions.

Hall 3 will feature exhibits by international aids manufacturers, as well as a mobility sector with wheelchair, vehicle, and walking aids innovations. In addition, the REHACARE Forum addressing current topics will be located there.

Hall 4 will be the central information center for children with disabilities. This is where parents and family members can find equipment ranging from wheelchairs to communication aids for education, the release continues.

Hall 5 will include exhibits for people with sensory disabilities and limited motor skills. In addition, “accessible travel” companies will give vacation and travel tips here.

Hall 6 is where customized car conversions and installations for disabled drivers will be on display. Manufacturers will present their current standard car models equipped for the disabled here.

Hall 7a will transform into a huge stadium (“Sports Center”) where visitors will be able to try out sports such as track and field, archery, table football for blind people, and wheelchair basketball.
