Lifeway Mobility LLC, headquartered in Windsor Locks, Conn, announces that it has become the majority shareholder of Danielson, Conn-based Freedom Lifts.
Lifeway Mobility is an accessibility equipment supplier serving the southern New England area. Freedom Lifts is a provider of stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and elevators, and serves the Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island areas.
Freedom Lifts will continue to operate under its own brand, and according to the agreement, it will bring complementary expertise, talent, and systems to Lifeway Mobility, according to a media release from Lifeway Mobility LLC.
“We saw the opportunity to build on the strengths of two great organizations, which include the top installers, support teams, and management in the industry,” says Paul Bergantino, president of Lifeway Mobility, in the release.
The partnership’s goal will be to “leverage the strengths of both organizations and become the primary resource for ramps, lifts, and transfer products for clinicians, architects, contractors, organizations, and consumers,” Bergantino continues.
Freedom Lifts co-founder Sean O’Reilly notes in the release that, “Lifeway’s strong understanding of the industry reinforces our dedication to serving those with access needs. We look forward to working together to provide our clients with unique solutions.”
