FDA Approves TDX SP2 Power Wheelchair from Invacare

Invacare announces the recent 510(k) approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its TDX SP2 Power Wheelchair with LiNX Technology.

The power wheelchair features an REM400 remote with touch screen display, which is designed to allow users to swipe or tap to interact as they would other consumer electronics.

“This exciting milestone puts Invacare one step closer to introducing this power wheelchair, which redefines the complex rehab category,” says Brian LaDuke, VP of Rehab Marketing at Invacare, in a media release.

The TDX SP2 Power Wheelchair with LiNX Technology is scheduled to launch in mid-August in the United States and will be available for order at that time, according to the release.
