The Braun Corporation, Winamac, Ind, recently introduced its newest mobility solution, the Toyota Rampvan Xi, which features an in-floor ramp conversion. The new ramp is designed to offer users enhanced convenience, thanks to its ability to be stowed neatly beneath the floor and allow users to easily enter and exit the vehicle.
A Braun Corporation news release reports that the company aims to provide users with a modernized design with greater accessibility through the addition of side rails, a decreased ramp angle, and 800-pound weight capacity to the vehicle. Nick Gutwein, Braun Corporation president adds that, “With July 4th right around the corner, we are reminded of the significance independence has in the lives of adults, children, and veterans with disabilities. The enhanced Toyota Sienna conversion is just another example of the importance we place on the freedom to drive and the ability to choose a vehicle customized for individual needs.”
Additional features available in the vehicle include all-new interior paneling, a backseat footrest, new and improved Step-and-Roll seats designed for ease of use, and easier serviceability to increase service time, the company notes.
