The third annual Louisville Innovation Summit is scheduled to take place October 9-11 at the Marriott hotel in downtown Louisville, Ky.

Speakers on tap to attend include innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives in the aging care industry. Keynote speakers include journalist Esther Dyson, Eliza Corporation co-founder and chairman of the board Alexandra Drane, and Cambia Health Solutions president and CEO Mark Ganz, according to a media release.

A highlight of the gathering will be the 2016 Startup Pitch Event, which is conceived as a way to help spur partnerships between entrepreneurs in the senior care or digital health industries with investors looking to advance new companies in such industries. Cash prizes are awarded to one national and one Kentucky winner, along with the potential to work with a major corporate sponsor for guidance and product pilots, the release notes.
